Our Top 10 Upcoming Metal and Rock Bands on Tour in the UK!
With the New Year looming, more and more big name bands are announcing new tours across the United Kingdom. We would also be remiss to ignore the incredible acts that are taking the stage in the upcoming winter months. With this in mind, we at Blue Banana have compiled a quick list of some of our favourite acts. So check out this list of Rock Bands on Tour in the U.K that you won’t want to miss.
Alice Cooper (November 2017)
In the words of Wayne and Garth, we are not worthy of Alice Cooper. His amazing performances that never seem to end are always a superb event. In less than a week Alice Cooper will take the stage in Leeds after his two dates in Dublin, Ireland. If you love classic rock then this will be the perfect opportunity for a night you will never forget.
Deep Purple (November 2017)
It looks like 2017 wants to go out with a bang and the Deep Purple’s Long Goodbye Tour is proof. After the first concert back in May 2017, the iconic British rock band has come home. Starting in Birmingham, the band will go on to visit Manchester, Cardiff, Glasgow and finally London at the O2 Arena. The band hasn’t written off future tours. However the tour’s name and the band’s age suggest you won’t have many other opportunities to see them play live. This will definitely be a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Stone Sour (November – December 2017)
We all miss the energetic shows of Slipknot with front man Corey Taylor. His other band, Stone Sour is still an exciting opportunity to watch live. In late November and early December, the band will be travelling across the U.K. to perform some unforgettable shows. If you love the unique vocals of Corey Taylor then this is a show not to miss.
Marilyn Manson (December 2017)
If you beautiful people enjoy the music from the king of Goth, you need to see Marilyn Manson in concert. With five dates available across Great Britain, the chances of getting a ticket are running out. Manson will arrive in early December and we’re looking forward to seeing what he brings along with him.
Five Finger Death Punch (December 2017)
If you’re looking for a heavy metal gig to end your year then the world has answered your request. From 17th to 21st December, Five Finger Death Punch will be playing four amazing shows alongside In Flames and Of Mice & Men. With so much heavy metal majesty in one show, you’d be crazy to miss out.
Asking Alexandria/Black Veil Brides (January 2018)
2017 may end loudly but 2018 will begin even louder! England’s own Asking Alexandria is teaming up with Black Veil Brides to provide four killer shows. We’re sure that many of you are excited for the opportunity to see these two bands in one place. This is a great way to see two of your favourite bands for the price of one ticket. The only issue is which Band T Shirt to wear to the concert.
Hollywood Undead (January 2018)
As countless bands have proved, mixing rap and rock can produce some really great music. The same is true for Hollywood Undead who will be gracing the shores of the UK in late January. Their latest album “Five” is their fifth album and we’ve been enjoying their songs for the past twelve years. We even have new T Shirts for their new album that you can grab today so you’re ready to watch them live.
Skindred (April 2018)
Welsh metal has a great number of big names and Skindred is one of the most recognizable. If you love songs that fuse different genres of music then you’ll be in good company at their concert. Sadly you’ll have to wait a bit longer as their UK tour doesn’t begin until late April. Once they do arrive, they will play a whopping nine shows so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to enjoy their unique music style.
Foo Fighters (June 2018)
Perhaps the most anticipated tour of 2018 is the Foo Fighters. With their unbeatable stage presence and nicest man in rock front man Dave Grohl, seeing Foo Fighters live is one of the top things to do before you die. While tickets are currently scarce, you may already have a ticket or are willing to do anything to get one. Either way, you’re guaranteed to love their live performance.
Ozzy Osbourne at Download Festival 2018 (June 2018)
If you didn’t see Download’s very recent announcement, there is a great reason to plan your 2018 Festival experience. The iconic Ozzy Osbourne will be one of the Headliners at Download Festival 2018. Download has never disappointed with their acts so we’re looking forward to seeing who else will be announced. So get your tent and sleeping bag ready for June to roll around. We are also hoping that this will mean Ozzy will be adding UK tour dates while he’s in the area.
