SIZE GUIDE
Here are the key measurements you'll need to know for circular barbells:
- Diameter: the internal diameter; measured from the inner edges of the ring.
- Gauge: the thickness of the bar, which can be measured in (g) or (mm). For ease, we use (mm).
When choosing a size (e.g. 1.2mm), the number refers to the gauge of the bar. Once you have clicked on a product most items will have a variety of diameters available from a dropdown menu.
If you have a new piercing, we recommend a circular barbell with a larger internal diameter, to allow room for potential swelling.
Once the piercing has fully healed you could look at choosing a circular barbell with a smaller diameter.
