We had a quick chat with UK based blogger and Plus Sized model extraordinaire, Fuller Figure, Fuller Bust aka Georgina Horne! For the uninitiated, Georgina has been blogging about “…battling with diets, huge bras and high street dresses…” since 2011 and in the four short years since her blog began, she’s designed a range of stunning dresses with online retailer Lady Vintage, appeared in countless publications the world over, modeled for scores of brands and designers (Including the amazing Voodoo Vixen) and participated in a documentary on the world of Plus Size bloggers and models!

Q. So, Georgina, tell us a little about yourself, what do you do when you’re not modelling or blogging?

So I now blog full time and spend too much time on social media trying to keep up with everything! I go to the gym most days, I love cooking and I also have several adorable pet rats and one pet fianc who keep me busy.

Q. How did ‘Fuller Figure, Fuller Bust’ begin?

The blog was born out of a desire to show women with similarly large boobs and bodies to mine how to find lingerie and clothing and what it would look like and how it fits  and feels because I know the struggle and I just wanted to help others and be a resource. It’s crazy how things have gone since then!

Q. When did you begin your modelling career?

I wouldn’t really say I have a modelling career per se, but I was first photographed professionally in 2009 I believe, and that was by Velvet d’Amour for Volup2. It helped give me confidence and put me on the map and it was incredible.

Q. What would you say that the highlight of your modelling career has been?

There are so many! I think the recent bridal shoot that I did was up there to be honest! There’s something special about being asked to model expensive glorious wedding dresses.

Q. How does it feel to be appearing on prime time TV in the Channel 4 documentary Plus Sized Wars?

It was so nerve wracking to be asked to be on TV and followed about and bit remember everything I’ve said or know how I’ve been edited. Having seen it I’m relieved and glad that I did it but I don’t know if I would again!

Q. Who are your favourite Plus Size retailers and designers?

Evans are really mixing things up right now and I’m loving it! I also love Simply Be – especially their Kelly Brook line.

Q. You always look amazingly stylish, do you have any fashion tips or advice for our readers?

Haha, I never feel overly stylish very often! I think red lipstick cures everything, you can never own too many hair flowers, and if in doubt add a belt!

Q. Your tattoos are awesome! Have you found that your gorgeously unique look has helped you book more work?

Oh thanks! I’m never sure that most of them look that good! I don’t have many visible ones so sometimes it’s not obvious that I have any, but they certainly add a little something!

With several advertising campaigns, a wedding and undoubtedly, more exquisite designs in the pipeline, Georgina’s certainly got a busy year ahead!
