Iron Maiden Flags

Possibly the most famous heavy metal band of all time, the English band from east London mainly saw great success during the early eighties, and many fans feel there is no better way to show their passion for the band than to display an Iron Maiden flag at rock gigs or on the wall at home.

The popularity of the Iron Maiden flag started back in 1975 when the group was formed by legendary bassist Steve Harris. The band have now released over thirty albums including famous eighties albums such as Piece of Mind in 1983, the live album Live After Death in 1985 and 1988’s Seventh Son of a Seventh Son, which saw the band taking its first steps into progressive rock.

Portable Heavy Metal With An Iron Maiden Flag

The group currently consists of Bruce Dickinson on vocals, Dave Murray, Adrian Smith and Janick Gers on guitars, Nicko McBrain on drums, as well as Steve Harris still blasting out the bass.

Although the band has gone through many ups and downs, particularly through the nineties during the Blaze Bayley vocal era, the fact they have been rocking for over thirty years speaks volumes about their talent and their fan base, many of whom possess Iron Maiden flags displayed on their wall.

Flying The Iron Maiden Flag After Over Thirty Years

The band have been recognised for their outstanding success in the heavy metal genre through several awards, all of which have helped to increase merchandise popularity including Iron Maiden flags and Iron Maiden banners.

They were awarded the Grammy award for the best metal performance in 2011, for El Dorado, which was released as a single from the popular 2010 album The Final Frontier.

Having been around for so long, the different types of Iron Maiden flags available are well established as having strong graphics and branding, usually featuring their mascot Eddie, as well as being sturdy and durable to allow them to be moved around the house as well as being taken to gigs and festivals.
