For the safest body piercing Wolverhampton has to offer, stop by your local Blue Banana store to receive top quality piercings. With a strict sanitisation, hygiene and customer service policy you are guaranteed to receive some of the best service in your area, making your piercing experience pleasurable. All of our staff receive necessary training before they are allowed to perform any procedures, keeping you safe in the knowledge that your piercing will be done by a professional.

Our ear piercing services in Wolverhampton are some of the best around today, with sanitary equipment and facilities you can be sure your piercing will be carried out properly. Hygiene is an important part of every piercing and we at Blue Banana are fully aware of that, which is why we ensure every aspect of the procedure is sanitary and ready for every individual. We keep all equipment in clean plastic containers so that bacteria does not have access to them, preventing infection. One of our more popular procedures is wrist piercings that have become one of our piercers many specialties. They place the palm face down on the table and then shave the hair off and clean thoroughly until it is sanitary, they then clamp the skin together and mark the area where the piercing will go. The piercer will then use the needle and place it into the skin which will then be replaced by a barbell to complete the process. After the procedure is complete your specialist should inform you of the best aftercare routines to help prevent infection and preserve your new piercing. You can also rest assured that all of our equipment in our Wolverhampton store, and all of our other body piercing stores have been approved by the UK Environmental Health Agencies and the US Department of Health.

Before you even think about the procedure itself, you need to pick a stud or ring from our piercing jewellery section that matches your image as you won’t be able to take it out until it fully heals. If you feel like seeing the stud or ring in the flesh, go to your local store and if you don’t know where it is be sure to check out our ‘find a shop’ page in our help section to give you directions. The other body piercing services in Wolverhampton are obsolete compared to our services as they don’t put as much effort into improvement to facilities and training.

We have come a long way since we started in 1997; our popularity has grown considerably giving us the opportunity to better ourselves along the way. Due to our impressive progress we are now averaging 70,000 piercings a year which is helping us to better ourselves even further as we are gaining more and more experience from each one. Each of our body piercing stores around the UK, including Wolverhampton, are all registered and monitored by numerous local health authorities which keeps you safe in the knowledge that we always maintain our hygienic facilities and equipment.

At Blue Banana we ensure that all of our piercers receive sufficient training to ensure that they do not have any unnecessary accidents when taking on a procedure. For any additional information on piercings and the procedures then check out our piercing information for any advice that you require. • Over 1 Million Piercings

Since its formation in 1997, Blue Banana carries out between 70,000 and 80,000 piercings a year, a total of over 1.2 million in the last 15 years.

This fantastic opportunity has allowed us to develop comprehensive in-house training, develop and retain some of the best piercers and create a renowned piercing and aftercare program.

During this time we’ve worked with all of our Local Council Authorities to ensure we follow have the best practices, studio design, sterilisation and training in place at all our studios.

  • Largest In Europe

Blue Banana is the largest piercing chain in Europe, and we’re very proud of it. It’s also allowed us to learn:
    • The latest piercing techniques,
    • Source the best piercing materials (such as PVD Teflon),
    • Absorb and implement cutting edge hospital-grade sterilisation methods, and
    • Establish Health, Hygiene and Safety practices well above the standard requirements.

  • Full Sterilization

    Blue Banana has:
    • State-of-the-art autoclave sterilizers for all our instruments.
    • Specially designed studios that have been purpose-built.
    • New disposable surgical gloves for each customer.
    • Single-use needles and bench covers that are discarded after each piercing.
    • Disinfect & wipe clean surfaces and floors in ALL our studios.
    • Strict Health and Hygiene policies and periodic inspections.
    • Enforced hand washing procedures (with disposable towels).

  • Comprehensive Training

All employees require 3 months service before receiving piercing training; so we can judge their suitability.

They will train and learn basic piercing theory from our 64 page manual and will be tested on its entire contents.

If they pass they will receive intensive hands-on training from a Senior Piercer with at least 10,000 piercings experience, completing an average 60 piercings within their first week.

If they meet the standards required and demonstrate a clear understanding of the principles of infection control, anatomy of piercing, sterilisation methods and customer care then they are permitted to carry out common piercings.

After 6 months of review and at least 5000 piercings experience they are assessed and if suitable allowed to perform the more unusual or delicate piercings (including genitals).

  • Complete Aftercare

We provide FULL and COMPREHENSIVE aftercare support with every piercing we complete, without exception. We also ensure that verbal and written aftercare advice is provided to all of our customers.
