Conch Piercing

Location: Ear, Conch
Jewellery: Barbells, Rings, Studs
Healing: 3 to 9 months

A conch piercing is the perforation of the concha, the deep bowl-shaped shell in the centre of the ear. This allows the piercee to insert a piece of jewellery of their choice in to the concha, the most popular of which tend to be barbells. Often pierced using a hollow 14g needle, it can be sore and painful due to the sensitivity of the ear in the central area.

If you already have a conch piercing or if you’re thinking of getting it done, we have range of jewellery perfect for showing off your piercing. For those of you who are not sure what a conch ear piercing is, it’s where the middle part of the ear is pierced on the cartilage between the canal and curved section. A number of different jewellery can be used such as a BCR, barbell or labret and each come in different gauges. Our conch piercing jewellery is available in either the form of a BCR, barbell or labret. Each type offers a different purpose and is used for personal taste. If you’re thinking about getting a barbell, the best thing to remember is the fact that they can be custom changed with an add on.

Conch Piercing Jewellery At Affordable Prices

The conch piercing can be customised with a labret bar instead of a barbell for your own personal reasons. A labret piercing stud includes a flat back with the front of the labret being changeable to match your individual style. There are a number of reasons why you might want to change your piercing jewellery; one is because you might fancy adjusting your style. Another reason could be because your current jewellery is uncomfortable and you’re after something that won’t get caught on your clothing, and if that isn’t enough to tempt you, this type of piercing jewellery also comes in either a straight shape or a curved form.

Changeable Conch Piercing Jewellery

Bearing this in mind, the conch piercing can be used as a fashion statement and for personal style. However, the jewellery is the most important part and so it is imperative to know we offer titanium, surgical steel and gold piercings. With the style and material covered, you should also know our barbells and labrets are available in a range of sizes to be used for a number of piercings, not just the conch.
