Our 1.6mm Plasma Gold PVD barbells have a PVD coating over implant grade titanium, making them suitable for initial piercing as well as healed piercings. A straight barbell is used for various piercings in which a ring or other curved would cause discomfort, damage or strain on the piercing. Many places that straight barbells are commonly used include tongue, nipple, various male genital piercings and more. They come in a range of lengths from 8mm to 35mm to accomadate scaffold piercings.
