Festival Information
Created as an independent music festival The Secret Garden Party will bring your imagination back to life. Let out your inner child and let your creativity run wild during this colourful weekend. A young festival, TSGP was born in 2004, inviting people from across the country to attend and unearth a truck load of juicy artists ready to be added to your iTunes playlist when you arrive home. Set in a breathtaking location, enjoy the scenery of a calm lake and stunning gardens at The Secret Garden Party.

With over six stages at The Secret Garden Party of non-stop, gifted artists, you can jump from one to the other so you catch the highlight acts of the weekend. Dotted around the enormous site you will discover stands and stalls with food for your growling stomach. From burgers to noodles, easy on your pocket to hard on your funds, this festival will have a culinary feast to choose from. Or why not check out the gift stalls while you’re at it and grab an interesting present for a certain someone. Whatever your plans are for this summer, ditch them and make The Secret Garden Party your top priority.

Secret Garden Party: Stages

The Great Stage – Speaking for itself, the great stage is where it all happens at the Secret Garden Party. With the most talked about headliners performing here and where you will shout along to your favourite tracks until your lungs collapse, there’s no way you can miss this monster of a stage. Heavy beats and performances you will never forget, your heart won’t stop pounding in excitement from the moment you step foot into the arena. 2010 put on quite a display with acts Gorillaz Sound System, Marina & The Diamonds and even I Blame Coco taking to the stage, how could The Secret Garden Party ever top that?

Where The Wild Things Are – Set within the trees, Where The Wild Things Are stage is all about discovery and difference. Created for the mysterious and out-of-the-ordinary beats to bop along to, you will be glad of the day you unearthed this beast of a stage. Last year saw the hotly tipped Darwin Deez and worldly Animal Kingdom as well as many other magnificent acts bringing the stage to life.

The Crossroads – A place to relax and listen to the latest in blues music, The Crossroads stage is far from mainstream. With an all night bar, you could stay there throughout the day and night, but we suggest you check out the other stages too. Dig into your soul and allow the music to enter your bloodstream. Guaranteed to pack a bill of calming but exciting artists, unwind and let the rhythm take control of your mind.

The Remix Bubble –
Taking place in an orb, The Remix Bubble will keep you focused on only the important thing; dance music. With a wild display of digital and lighting effects, this dance stage is like nothing you would have ever seen before. With acts staying up until 6am to fill your lives with pumping dance tunes, you won’t miss a trick at The Remix Bubble.

The Living Room –
Designed just like a 1930s country manor living room, the chilled setting reflects the easy listening music being performed before you. With an eclectic display of music on offer, you will feel right at home here. Guaranteed to have a band you will be rummaging through your bag to find writing essentials to jot it down, The Living Room will be an unforgettable experience.

The Pagoda – The most unique and memorable stage, The Pagoda floats along the lake day and night to provide pulsating beats and an experience that will forever be etched on your mind. Climb aboard, stay until the sun sets and dance away under the stars, what more could you want from The Secret Garden Party? In honour of the late Peter Foster, The Pagoda should not be missed by anyone.

Secret Garden Party: Entertainment

Campsite Information

As soon as you get to The Secret Garden Party, the fun can begin. With intoxicating light displays and interesting choice of decor, your mind will avert the facilities and focus on the important things; the weekend party! Packed with amenities suitable for all festival-goers, it won’t be long until you forget about showering and the sordid toilets. No festival is perfect. Providing you with the necessities of a weekend long festival, The Secret Garden Party will do it in a, more or less, flamboyant way. With loos based around the campsite and the main arena, your full bladder won’t have to hold on for too long until you come across a suitable toilet. Please don’t be naive to the fact that the queues will get horrendous and don’t forget; everyone’s in the same boat!

When it comes to washing, the best advice to give you is to take a sufficient supply of baby wipes and plenty of dry shampoo, it’s only for a couple of days and with the amount of fun you’ll be having, you will soon forget about the peculiar smells and uncleanliness, just go with the flow. For those of you with food on your mind, the answer is yes, there will be lots, and we mean LOTS of dishes and nibbles to choose from. But as if this wasn’t enough, there will be many drinking water points so you can refresh and refuel when it comes to low liquid supplies.

Most importantly, where are you going to pitch the tent? The moment you arrive on Secret Garden Party land, you will be directed to a suitable spot in the camping field where you must remain for the entirety of the weekend. For more information on facilities and areas, just scroll down the page...

Secret Garden Party Areas

Main Area
The heart of the festival, the main area is where the party is happening. With the main stage situated in this area, this is where you will come across some of the greatest music in the industry at this current time. There are tons of facilities to be found amidst the colourful and exciting surroundings of the festival, including mens and womens toilets. With mostly long-drops and urinals available, when it comes to doing your business at The Secret Garden Party, it’s best not to expect miracles.

For all you food critics, there will be plenty of stands and stalls to try out and purchase your grub from. On top of this, when you run out of water you can make your way to one the many water points to refill your plastic drinking container. The water has been tested for its purity and to make sure it is 100% safe to drink, just for that added peace of mind. With random tents and idiosyncratic happenings, the visual element of The Secret Garden Party will remind you of a trippy underground rave, where things aren’t as they appear. From acoustic stages tucked away in the darkness of the woods to the main stage positioned in the eye of the area, for all to see. With a breathtaking backdrop and overwhelming views of the countryside, The Secret Garden Party is certainly that one thing all festivals strive to be; UNIQUE!

Campsites

The campsites at The Secret Garden Party are intriguing and quirky fields. They offer enough space for everyone turning up to the event to create a mini camping area of their own. Your job is to fill it with life and add your own je ne sais quoi to it; well you are a gardener after all, it’s your job to get all creative! With a sea of tents around you, you might find it hard to find your own in amongst the jumble of multi-coloured polyester, but we have a suggestion; add something distinctive or eye catching to it, that way you’ll find your tent immediately. And of course, there is no need to worry about a lack of toilets as the campsites will have all the initial facilities available for use here.

On the other hand, if you’ve been lucky enough to grab a luxury camping accommodation option for yourself and fellow gardeners, you will have full access to the finest toilets and showers onsite, jealous much?! With ready-made tipis, Kabins and whole load more, all you have to do is carry your luggage, no setting up is needed whatsoever. This smart and quirky festival definitely delivers, so you have no reason to miss it; no excuses this time!

Yes, the toilets will get extremely smelly and unpleasant, but The Secret Gardens cleaning team will be on hand to keep them hygienic and sanitised throughout the festival period. Dotted all around The Secret Garden Party site, you will find it hard to miss any of the loos scattered around.

Showers
Got yourself a luxury camping accommodation option? Then you can enjoy the comfort and indulgence of the private toilets in addition to hot showers.
