Formed in 2003, Blessed by a Broken Heart is a post hardcore band with members originating from Quebec and Montreal. With a total of nine band line up changes in the past nine years, the band have had at least one new member recruited or lost per year. First formed as a concept band by
Tyler Hoare, BBABH released their debut album ‘All is Fair In Love and War’ in 2004 just a year after forming with
Blood & Ink Records. Although the band had previous mainstream success, they really became popular in 2006 when they performed a sold out UK tour with well known band Enter Shikari. In 2007 the band were signed to another record label –
Century Media and this is when they began working on their second album ‘
Pedal to the Metal’. Whilst working on this album, the band also toured with many bands across the US including
The Devil Wears Prada and
A Day to Remember. Soon after the band gained mainstream success, they released a range of Blessed by a Broken Heart merch which was a huge hit instantly with fans all across the globe! Since the release of their debut album in 2004, Blessed by a Broken Heart have now released a further two albums.
After completing several Blessed by a Broken Heart tours, the band began working on their third album which is their last one to date, which was released early in 2012 for all you crazy fans to enjoy! Blessed by a Broken Heart have released three ranges of official merchandise since forming which is all extremely popular with their worldwide fan base. Post hardcore band, Blessed by a Broken Heart are constantly working on new music and merchandise for all of their fans, and meanwhile still continue to carry out UK and European tours. Recently the band posted a video on their Facebook fan page with their most recent debut ‘
Forever’ which is featured on their brand new album for 2012. Although the band has released only three albums to date, they are currently working on their fourth, and as predicted it is going to be even bigger and better due to their new record label.
