Brann Dailor, Bill Kelliher and Troy Sanders formed the band in 1999 in Atlanta and have since then released five albums, appeared on network television, toured with immense bands, sold an amazing amount of

Starting from the bottom, they worked their way up by recording four song demos through Reptilion Records in 2000, this got them to promote their music and later sign with Relapse Records which helped them to begin their sales of Mastodon t shirts not long after.
Releasing their first album ’Remission` in 2001 got Mastodon t shirts on the shelves and created a large fan base instantly, this inspired the band to do even more with their music which led to them featuring a track about the elephant man on every album. Their second album ‘Leviathan` was voted ‘album of the year’ by Terrorizer and Kerrang! which got their band t shirts selling fast; everyone wanted a piece of Mastodon and were waiting for their first tour to be organised. Not long after, the band took part in ‘The Unholy Alliance` tour alongside Slayer and Slipknot which shot their reputation sky high and made their Mastodon t shirts extremely popular getting fans completely enticed in their sound, eventually all of those fans would have every single album in their home:

They became extremely popular and began selling their Mastodon t shirts effortlessly because people just couldn’t get enough of their unique style; when they appeared on network television for the first time in front of over 2 million people, everyone went crazy for their tees and couldn’t get enough of their albums. In 2009 they released the album ‘Crack the Skye` and their immense reputation and musical talent got it to sell 41,000 copies in the first week alone, this boosted their sales of band t shirts dramatically and put Mastodon’s stamp in music history. After signing with Warner Bros, Mastodon t shirts began selling themselves and the band are now touring and doing concerts all over the globe and are singing alongside some of the most inspirational bands of all time.
