Introducing Mastodon merchandise into the music industry had an inspiring effect on band merchandise and got fans and other bands completely in awe of their diverse range. Mastodon formed in 1999 in the United States as a heavy rock band; the idea of the band was influenced by their respect for sludge metal bands like Melvins and Neurosis and love for 70’s hard rockers.
