Dead Metal Clothing

The Dead Metal Clothing brand is one that produces a whole range of metal clothes for those who are looking for something different. A relatively new company, they have quickly grown to be an outspoken and creative alternative brand and are quickly forming a niche for themselves within the fashion industry. Bold designs and bright colours on dull backgrounds are what they are all about, allowing the user to stand out while still feeling comfortable in clothes they love. The majority, if not all, of the clothes produced by this brand feature designs by Godmachine, a renowned British artist and designer. Godmachine comes with quite a CV, having worked for Iron Fist, Bullet for my Valentine and Hawthorn Heights in the past. Many of the designs are quite shocking but this is what Dead Metal Clothing is about.

Now in its fourth year, Dead Metal Clothing was founded in South Wales but has since spread to a well known brand around the world. While many of the designs by Godmachine are quite vivid and in some cases macabre, the company has found success in many unsuspected places. As the name suggests they largely appeal to the metal and rock scenes but their popularity has since expanded into other scenes including:

Gothic

While it is not in doubt that Dead Metal Clothing would have achieved their success regardless, Godmachine has made a huge difference to this company. Throughout the world he has received critical acclaim, being described as "one of the most underrated illustrators around” and "the most inspiring artist I know”. Those familiar with the brand will know that there is a common theme running through many of the designs, with one of the favourite images being a skull in some form. These usually form the centrepiece for many of the designs, while the brand name often appears to help promote it to those who have not yet heard. With a huge amount of success so far and more to come, Dead Metal Clothing is sure to keep growing.
