Ghost T-Shirts Won’t Scare Anyone Off
Don’t let the band name fool you. Wearing Ghost t-shirts won’t frighten anyone off your fashion. One of the most interesting heavy metal bands on the scene, Ghost were formed in Stockholm, Sweden back in 2008, releasing their first album, Opus Eponymous, in 2010.
The six members of the band responsible for the surge in Ghost t-shirts popularity are highly recognisable thanks to their strange on-stage attire, with the vocalist singing in a skull mask and cardinal robes, and the other five members wearing hooded robes, obscuring their identity.
There’s No Need To Be A Nameless Ghoul With Ghost T-Shirts
The band is often likened to music from Witchfinder General and Black Sabbath, and the secretive nature of the bands identities has given them the name of ‘nameless ghouls’. Anyone seen sporting a Ghost band tshirt is sure to receive questions about the band, who are still more popular in Sweden than in the UK or America.
There has been much speculation over the identities of the members of the band who have inspired some great Ghost t-shirts, with the Swedish Performing Rights Society saying that Tobias Forge, vocalist from fellow Swedish band Subvision, is the lead vocalist of Ghost. The band themselves have told the press they won’t comment on any rumours about their identity.
Opus Eponymous, which also featured a cover of Here Comes The Sun by The Beatles on its Japanese release, was rated as the third best album of the previous decade by Sweden Rock Magazine in June 2011, spreading their message to a wider audience and seeing an increase in Ghost t-shirts sales.
Real Ghost tees are strong and reliable with exciting branding which represents the anonymity and beliefs of the band, particularly focusing around the cardinal robes and skull mask worn by the lead vocalist during performances.
