Living Dead Dolls

The exclusive Living Dead Dolls franchise began back in 1998 in America, thanks to the genius creativity of Ed Long and Damien Glonek. Soon after they decided to make and sell more of their gothic dolls, they were picked up my Mezco Toyz to present them on a commercial level. Their very first collection was introduced in 2001 and was named ‘Series 1’. The guys have since continuously released one or two sets of dolls each year, and they are always expanding. After a decade, some may think that the company would falter or begin to slow their pace; however this is not true for Living Dead Dolls, who have maintained a level of success and continue to do so.

Judging from Living Dead Dolls and their expansion over the years, it’s clear to see how they have become so popular. Not only have they produced a mega 22 series of the main dolls, which are all 28cm tall and sold in cryptic coffin shaped boxes, they’ve also created a number of spin off lines and other ranges of dolls. The extent of the Living Dead Dolls range can be summarised as follows;
  • 22 Series of Main Dolls
  • Living Dead Doll Exclusives
  • Living Dead Dolls Miniatures
  • Living Dead Dolls Fashion Victims
  • Living Dead Dollies
  • Living Dead Ragdolls
  • Other Merchandise; stationary, tins, books, etc
  • And Living Dead Dolls Presents
The last component of Living Dead Dolls spin off’s is the Living Dead Dolls Presents range. This consists of an exceptional selection of collectible dolls that are based on characters from popular gothic and horror stories. They’ve been manufactured and created with ideas from gothic art, horror films and popular literature. Any of these particular gothic dolls are ideal for collectors and have proven to be incredibly popular among horror fanatics. Living Dead Dolls have recently released a set of ‘Scary Tales’ dolls which are inspired by famous fairytales such as; Beauty and the Beast and Red Riding Hood.
